On my first list I had a lens that I knew I probably wouldn't get as a gift.. so over the weekend I went to National Camera Exchange to try out some lenses, including the one on the original list. Unfortunately they didn't have that one in stock, but I was able to try a different one that is very similar – The Canon EF 50mm F/1.4 USM. And for a fraction of the price as the other, it seems like the obvious choice! It was a great lens that would be a nice addition to my collection! So, new to my list (replacing the other lens), is the one below...
